How the Energy Leadership Index Worked for Kitty Bird

Last year, I met Kitty Bird. She’s a talented event photographer with a passion for capturing engaging moments, and she joined me at my retreat. Like most of us, Kitty sometimes faces professional hurdles that can shake her confidence. But something changed dramatically for her after learning about the concepts of the Energy Leadership Index (ELI).

Kitty’s experience underscores a fundamental tenet of the ELI: our energy levels dictate our perceptions and reactions. By choosing a higher energy response—one of understanding, rationality, and solution-finding—Kitty not only resolved the issue more effectively but also built a strong foundation of resilience against future challenges.
